Fieldset Component

Maestro provides the Fieldset component that allows you to group related fields together. This is not just for aesthetic purposes, but also helps users who are using assistive technologiesis an umbrella term that includes assistive, adaptive, and rehabilitative devices for people with disabilities while also including the process used in selecting, locating, and using them. such as screen-readers to navigate through the form.

To configure the Fieldset component on a form:

  1. Open a Maestro form.
  2. Click the Palette tab and expand Containers.
  3. Select the Fieldset and drag it onto the form.
  4. Click the Properties tab and find the Fieldset properties. If the Fieldset's label is visible, it uses the name of the field.
  5. Select the Hide Label if you want the Label to be suppressed, and use the Fieldset only for grouping.
  6. Select the Label Placement Left to align it to the left. The label is aligned above the fields by default.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Build and Render Form to see how this rule is displayed when the form is built and rendered.
