Business Rule Item Object

MaestroPreviously known as Transact Maestro.  |   Form Builder |  v5.1 & Higher This feature is related to v5.1 and higher.

A Maestro business rule JavaScript requires an item object parameter, passed to it on its invocation, to perform a desired action.

The screenshot below shows the 'item' parameter expanded in the developer tools console.  It contains among other information, tree structure information in $$parent, item properties in the 'properties' property, style information in the 'styles' property, getData/setData getter and setter methods for the data value, and rule code in the 'rules' array. Note that this example has only a change rule with code 'debugger;' which simply triggers the debugger on a change event.
