Validation Rule Overview

Maestro comes with a set of validation rules that allow you to verify data entered into a form by a user. The most common and simplest rule is a single component validation, which only checks that component data. Alternatively, more complex rules validate the data of several different components.
Validation rules are only invoked once a user has entered data into a field. It’s possible to combine a Validation Rule with a Mandatory Rule to ensure that the user enters valid data.
A validation rule states the conditions in which the data in a component is considered valid. For example, a validation rule can generate true or false response to indicate an “OK” or an “Error” state.
