Scope Selector

Journey Analytics allows you to select one or more applications or jobs to analyze in the Journey Analytics views, as well as one or more versions of the application or job.

V18.11

In v18.11 this is achieved by using a Scope Selector which is applicable to all Journey Analytics views.

The Scope Selector includes both the Form or Job Selector, to select the application and version or job, and the Period Selector, to select the date range.

Once the application, version and date range are chosen in the Scope Selector, all are visible across every view, and remain active in all views until reset.

Select a single application or job

To select a single application or job in an Journey Analytics view:

  1. Click on the Form (application) or Job Selector.
  2. Click on the version of the job you want to analyze. If there is only one version, simply click on it.
  3. Click OK.

Select multiple applications or jobs or versions

To select multiple applications or jobs, or multiple versions in an Journey Analytics view:

  1. Click on the Form (application) or Job Selector.
  2. Click on the applications or versions or jobs you want to analyze. If there is only one version, simply click on it.
  3. Click OK.

Reset and Cancel

Simply click Reset to clear your previous selection and make another selection, or click Cancel to close.

Note

If you want to view events from the current day, its best to set the range manually using the Custom option.

Adjust the date range

As part of selecting the scope, you can also adjust the date range using the Period selector.

  1. Click on the Period selector.
  2. Click on the date range you want to analyze. Use the Custom option to set the range manually.
  3. Click OK. TBC

Options

Option Description Result - if today is 10th April 2019

Last Day

Use this option to select yesterday.

Data from 9th April 2019 (12 am) to 9th April 2019 (11.59 pm) is shown.

Last Week

Use this option to select the week ending yesterday.

Data from 3rd April 2019 (12 am) to 9th April 2019 (11.59 pm) is shown.

Last Fortnight

Use this option to select the fortnight ending yesterday.

Data from 26th March 2019 (12 am) to 9th April 2019 (11.59 pm) is shown.

Last Month

Use this option to select the month ending yesterday.

Data from 9th March 2019 (12 am) to 9th April 2019 (11.59 pm) is shown.

Last Quarter

Use this option to select the previous quarter ending yesterday.

Data from 9th January 2019 (12 am) to 9th April 2019 (11.59 pm) is shown.

Last Year

Use this option to select the previous year ending yesterday.

Data from 9th April 2018 (12 am) to 9th April 2019 (11.59 pm) is shown.

Custom

Select the individual start and end dates from the calendars. You can also select today.

Data from start date (12 am) to end date (11.59 pm) is shown.

Journey Analytics always allows you to select one or more applications to analyze in the Insights views, as well as one or more versions of the application.

In v18.05 this was achieved by using an Application Selector in each view to select the application, and a Period filter on the Global Filter Panel to select the date range.

Once the application, version and date range are chosen, all are visible across every view, and remain active in all views until changed.

Select one or more applications or versions

Use the Application Selector in each view to select the applications and versions.

To select the application:

  1. Click on the Application Selector.
  2. Click on the applications and versions you want to analyze.
  3. If you want to select all versions, simply click on the application name.
  4. Then if you want to deselect some versions of the application, simply click on them.
  5. Click OK.

Select the time frame

Use the Period filter on the Global Filter Panel to select the date range.

To select the date range:

  1. Click on the Period filter.
  2. Click on the date range you want to analyze.

To select a custom timeframe:

  1. Click on the Period filter.
  2. Select Custom.
  3. Select your Start date and End date.
