Maestro Library Import and Export

MaestroPreviously known as Transact Maestro.  |   Form Builder  |   18.05 This feature was updated in 18.05.

Journey Maestro allows you to export and import libraries. You can use this functionality download a library backup or share a library between multiple organizations. However, library resources are exported as published versions, which means that the resources will not be editable when imported. To edit them, you will need access to the original library and its resources.

If a project library contains resources that need to be used across multiple projects, don't import that library into multiple projects as this will create unnecessary duplication. Instead, move the library to an organization-level library. Any resources in the organization library will become available to all projects within the organization.

Export a Library

To export a library:

  1. Open an organization or project Libraries folder in the Navigator.
  2. Select the library version you want to export and click Export Version.
  3. The library will be downloaded as a ZIP file.

The library ZIP file name starts with "maestro-org-lib" or "maestro-project-lib", reflecting the library scope, and includes the library name, and export date.

Import a Library

To import a library:

  1. Open a project in the Navigator.
  2. Select a Libraries folder and click Import.
  3. Select a library ZIP file to import and click Open.

Next, learn how to publish resources to another library.
