Design Types

MaestroPreviously known as Transact Maestro.  |   Form Builder| |   18.05 This feature was updated in 18.05.

Maestro allows you can create four types of designs:

Forms are web applications designed to capture data from applicants.

Receipts are documents of record that provide organizations and applicants with a reference of their submitted data.

Templates are used to provide a consistent look and feel to multiple forms and receipts.

Components are modular building blocks that can be drag and dropped into forms, receipts, and templates.

All types of designs are created and edited via the Maestro GUI. There are, however, unique controls available to each type of design. These controls are explained throughout the documentation.

You can view a design's type via the Show Form Details dialog.
