Every time Journey Maestro saves an asset, such as forms, templates, receipts and components, its compressed copy is sent to Manager where it is kept for historical references. This allows you to view assets' saved history and restore assets to previous saved states.

To view saved history of an asset:

  1. Open the Management Dashboard.
  2. Find an asset's version you want to view and select the Save History tab.
  3. The list of saved assets is shown of chronological order, with most recently saved asset on top, and includes the following information:

    • Saved At
    • Saved By
    • Source
    • Comment
  4. Click Make Selected Current to make the selected historical asset current. You can use this feature to revert the selected asset to its previous save state. A copy of the previous saved instance of the asset will be created and added to the top of the list. A comment is added next to the saved instance that indicates which previous save was restored and is now the current instance of the asset.
  5. Click Download JSON to download selected assets as JSONJSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a syntax for storing and exchanging data and is used in Maestro to store forms. If a Form Builder wants to transfer their form to another system, they can do so by using the Download JSON file button. files on your PC.
