Create an Organization

Manager uses organizations to encapsulate all relevant forms and resources.

Note

Only users with administrator privileges can create new organizations.

To create an organization:

  1. Select Forms > Organizations.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a unique organization name in the Name field.
  4. Enter a unique and abbreviated organization name in the Client Code field.
  5. Provide a comprehensive description in the Description field. If a client has multiple organizations, a description may also be useful for those users who have global permissions to multiple organizations on a single Manager instance.
  6. Provide an organization credential alias or client key in the Client Key field, which is the organization unique identifier used for subscription delivery Web Service integration.
  7. Select the Active checkbox to allow this organization to use all facilities. Otherwise, it is inactive which means it is disabled and is not shown.
  8. Note

    It's not recommended to remove an organization. Instead, you should make the organization inactive.

  9. Select an email service, used by this organization's forms to send submission related emails to users, from the Email Service dropdown list.
  10. Click Save to update the changes.

Once the new Organization is created, it automatically takes you to the Spaces tab for space assignment. This screen will show both default form spaces, as well as any custom form spaces you have configured in your journey manager environment so far. The form spaces assignment determines what form spaces will be available to forms assigned to the Organization. The space configuration is then also configurable at the form level.
