Manager comes with the AWS SQS System Event Publisher service that allows you to publish events and elements to AWS SQSAmazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS) is a pay-per-use web service for storing messages in transit between computers. Developers use SQS to build distributed applications with decoupled components without having to deal with the overhead of creating and maintaining message queues. queues. The service uses the AWS Security Token Service (STS ) protocol to authenticate the AWS STS Service Connection. However, you can use the standard AWS SQS Service Connection as well.

You must be a Journey Manager administrator to create or configure this functionality.

To create and configure the AWS SQS System Event Publisher service:

  1. Create and configure the AWS SQS service connection or the AWS STS service connection for the STS authentication protocol.
  2. Configure the AWS SQS System Event Publisher service using this service connection.

AWS SQS has a maximum message size, so if an event you're trying to publish is larger than that, you'll get an error. For more information, see
