Journey Platform Previously known as the Transact Platform. | All Personas
Each Temenos Journey Manager (TJM) release reaches its End-of-LifeEnd-of-life (EOL) is a term used with respect to a product supplied to customers, indicating that the product is in the end of its useful life (from the vendor's point of view), and a vendor stops marketing, selling, or rework sustaining it. (EOL) date 3 years after its General AvailabilityGeneral availability (GA) is the marketing phase when all commercialization activities pertaining to the software product have been completed and it is available for purchase. It is also known as production release. (GA) date.
This policy relates to our core product modules, including:
Each TJM module has its own release numbering and GA dates.
All TJM releases are supported and maintained until their EOL date. After that, out-of-support releases will be supported only to facilitate an upgrade to a supported release version.
Support | Period | Support & Maintenance |
---|---|---|
Normal support |
Release to EOL date |
Full access to the support portal per your support package. Monthly Maintenance Release available against the most recent major version only. For older Manager versions - Critical issues fixed on request and with approval from the Product Owners and company management. Access to new releases. |
After Support Period |
No support. Access to new releases. |
New features are added to our products in major releases. These features are added to the current major release only; they are not ported to previous releases. For example, features added in version 18.11.0 will not be available in version 18.05.x.
Maintenance releases provide fixes and security improvements. Monthly Maintenance Releases are available against the most recent major version only, unless, in our view, there is a significant reason to patch a previous release, such as a major security issue. For example, a fix in 18.11.5 will not be released for 18.05 unless there is a significant reason to do so.
Release notes, identifying new features, improvements and fixes, are available for all versions of all our products.
Feature lists are available for Manager, Maestro, and Workspaces, divided by each major release.
The following are the End-of-Life schedules for our products.

Support for AngularJS officially ended on 31 December 2021, per an announcement on the official AngularJS website: AngularJS - Version Support Status. This means that security patches and fixes will no longer be provided by the AngularJS project. It does not mean AngularJS apps will stop working. All AngularJS applications that work now, will continue to work in the future. For more information, see Stable AngularJS and Long Term Support.
Journey Maestro uses AngularJS as its underlying web framework. Temenos will continue to support Maestro after the AngularJS EOL. Below is an outline of Temenos' strategy and commitment to fully support the Journey Maestro product after the AngularJS EOL and into the foreseeable future.
Temenos is currently in negotiation with a third-party support provider to provide a commercial support contract, service level agreement, and license for a version of AngularJS that is maintained by the third-party through to at least 2026 (with an option to extend). The commercial support is identical to what we currently receive and covers security weaknesses and fixes caused by web browser and jQuery changes. This version of AngularJS will be included in the 2021 Q4 Maestro release, Maestro 21.11.
As new AngularJS patches are made available, Temenos will continue to apply these patch versions to Maestro with appropriate regression testing. We do not anticipate any impact to Journey Maestro customers.
