Avoka provides a range of products, each of which has its own requirements for running in the cloud or on-premise. This topic provides an overview of these requirements.
Forms built with Transact Maestro, Avoka's visual form-building tool, are supported on both desktop and mobile platforms.
Avoka supports Maestro forms being used on the following desktop browsers.
|Microsoft Internet Explorer||11.0|
Avoka no longer supports Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) and Internet Explorer 10 (IE10), as Microsoft no longer provides security patches or fixes for these browsers. As a result, they pose a significant security risk.
For further details, refer to Microsoft's website:
In addition, these legacy browsers do not support modern security standards required for security transactions including:
With Avoka Transact 4.3.3 and later, customers must explicitly configure their environments to support IE10, IE9, or IE8. The default Transact Manager configuration does not support these browsers. Customers enabling support for legacy browsers do so at their own risk.
Avoka supports Maestro forms being used on the following mobile browsers.
|Apple Safari on iOS||7.0 or later|
|Google Chrome||4.0 or later|
Avoka tests Avoka Transact forms across a wide range of browsers on mobile devices including those from Apple, Samsung, HTC, and Nokia.
Avoka does not support Microsoft Windows Phone 8 device as these are EOL by Microsoft, and we do not support Windows 10 Mobile phone devices as these have not been successful in market and are scheduled EOL in 2019 by Microsoft.
Avoka performs exhaustive testing across market leading devices and browsers. However, the proliferation of mobile platform combinations (mobile device + OS + patches + browser) preclude us from testing Maestro form functionality against all mobile platform combinations.
If you're using the Avoka TransactField App in a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) deployment model, we recommend testing Transact forms against your target devices.
Avoka Transact Manager manages, monitors, secures, and controls Avoka Transact's data collection applications. Transact Manager is an intelligent hub for managing all aspects of the transaction experience.
Transact Manager is available as an Amazon hosted service in three AWS regions: US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Sydney).
Transact Manager is supported on the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.0.
On-Premise deployment is available using the Transact Manager installer.
For organizations deploying Transact Manager on-premise, the following platforms are supported:
Transact Manager runs best on latest Intel x86-64 Xeon CPU architectures with high CPU performance. Avoka recommends server virtualization, such as VMware ESX, to enable better hardware utilization and improve operational support.
These are the recommend specifications for a server deployed with Avoka Transact Manager:
Avoka Transact Maestro is web-based design tool for creating forms hosted on the Transact Manager platform.
Transact Maestro is available as an Amazon hosted service in three AWS regions: US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Sydney).

Avoka recommends the following minimum PC hardware specification for Maestro users:
To deploy a Maestro form, Transact Manager v5.0 or higher is required.
Avoka Transact Composer is an Adobe Flash-based design tool for creating forms hosted on the Transact Manager platform. Composer has been superseded by Maestro but is still used by some customers.

The Avoka TransactField App is supported on the following platforms:
The Avoka Transact Integration Gateway is a lightweight software appliance for deploying on-premise to enable hybrid cloud Transact integration.
The Transact Integration Gateway supports the following platforms:
Transact Integration Gateway runs best on latest Intel x86-64 CPU architectures. We recommend server virtualization such as VMware ESX to enable better hardware utilization and improve operational support.
Transact Integration Gateway has modest server requirements:
See the “Avoka Transact Integration Gateway Installation Guide" to help plan on-premise deployments.
