Transactions Overview

Journey Manager (JM) Previously known as Transact Manager (TM).  |    System Manager / DevOps  |  5.1 & Higher This feature is related to 5.1 and higher.

A transaction is a fundamental element of Journey Manager, representing a user interaction with a form.

Manager distinguishes between the following transaction types:

  • Internal transactions associated with business users.
  • External transactions associated with customers and applicants.

A transaction created as a result of a user submitting a form is referred to as a submission.

Each transaction follows a pre-defined life cycle that can vary for different transaction types. Of all transaction life cycles, the submission life cycle is most important, covering the path a user navigates through a form. As such, the form's design is key to ensuring the user has an ideal customer journey.
